Who we are
Hazardous Disposal provides hazardous waste collection, transport and disposal services in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR we are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. You can contact us at enquire@hazardousdisposal.co.uk.
What we collect
When you complete a quote request or contact form we collect your name, company name, email address, telephone number, site postcode, the waste type and quantity you describe, and any notes you add. We also collect standard technical information such as the pages you visit, in aggregate form.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange collection, and produce the statutory waste documentation associated with any collection you book. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to commercial enquiries, and legal obligation for waste documentation we are required to keep.
Who we share it with
Enquiry details may be shared with our collection partners and permitted treatment facilities where necessary to carry out the service. We use secure hosting and workplace notification tools to route enquiries to the right expert. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not result in a collection are retained for up to 24 months. Where a collection takes place, waste documentation is retained for at least three years as required by the Hazardous Waste Regulations, and financial records for six years.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure where we have no ongoing legal requirement to retain it, and to object to processing.
