How our fuel, petrol & diesel disposal service works

Contaminated or out of specification fuel is a serious fire and environmental risk. We remove petrol, diesel, and oil from tanks, forecourts, plant and vehicle fleets, including contaminated waste. Our ADR drivers handle flammable Class 3 loads under full regulatory control, and fuel is routed for recovery and reprocessing where quality allows.

Every collection includes the same standard of care as a matter of course. The material is taken to licensed disposal or recycling sites in our network, and your hazardous waste consignment note is returned to you for your records.

Why it matters

The importance of safe fuel, petrol & diesel disposal

Fuel, petrol & diesel disposal is controlled for good reason. Handled badly it puts people, drains and watercourses at risk, and the waste stays legally yours long after it leaves your gate. Doing it properly protects your staff, your business and the environment.

Protects your people

Compatible containers, correct labelling and trained handling remove the burn, fume and reaction risks that come with badly stored waste.

Keeps you compliant

Duty of care follows the waste. Licensed carriage, licensed disposal sites and accurate paperwork give you the evidence you need.

Protects the environment

Where the stream allows we recover rather than destroy, so useful material goes back into productive use.

Can you dispose of contaminated petrol and diesel?

Yes. We collect misfuelled, stale, water contaminated and off specification petrol and diesel from forecourts, fleets, farms, plant hire and fuel storage sites.

Is waste fuel hazardous waste?

Waste petrol and diesel are hazardous waste and highly flammable. They must be stored in sound containers and moved by an ADR trained driver with a consignment note.

Do you empty fuel tanks as well as drums?

We collect fuel in drums and IBCs and can arrange tank emptying and cleaning where a bulk uplift is needed.

What happens to waste fuel after collection?

Waste fuel is taken to licensed disposal sites where it is separated and recovered as a fuel product wherever the quality allows.
