We can collect them on a scheduled or ad hoc basis and send waste to licensed disposal sites. The steel and aluminium shells can also be recovered for recycling.

Are aerosol cans hazardous waste?
Part full aerosol cans are hazardous waste because of the propellant and the product inside. They must not go in general waste or dry mixed recycling.
How are waste aerosols recycled?
Aerosols are collected in approved containers, then punctured and degassed at a licensed disposal site so the steel or aluminium can be recycled and the propellant recovered or destroyed.
Do you supply aerosol collection bins?
Yes. We supply suitable drums or cages for aerosol collection, sized to how many your site produces.
Can empty aerosols go in normal recycling?
Only if genuinely empty and depressurised. If there is any doubt, treat them as hazardous waste and include them in an aerosol can recycling collection.
