How our adblue disposal service works
AdBlue is a urea solution that degrades once it is contaminated with diesel, water or dirt, and it cannot be tipped to drain. We collect contaminated and out of date AdBlue in drums, IBCs or by bulk tanker, take it to a permitted facility and return the consignment note for your records.
Common causes are misfuelling, tank contamination, crystallisation in storage and expiry after long periods on site. Where the product is only slightly out of specification we look at recovery routes first, which usually lowers the cost against straight disposal.
Collections are booked around depot hours so vehicles are not held up, and our drivers are ADR trained for the mixed loads that often travel alongside AdBlue, such as waste oil and workshop chemicals.
Every collection includes the same standard of care as a matter of course. We classify the waste with you and confirm the correct List of Waste coding, supply UN approved packaging and labelling before the collection date, and send an ADR trained driver with a compliant vehicle. The material is taken to permitted facilities only, and your hazardous waste consignment note is returned to you as evidence that the movement was handled correctly from start to finish.
