How our paint disposal & recycling service works
Paints, coatings, resins and aerosols are hazardous due to flammable solvent content and, in older stock, heavy metal pigments. We collect part used and out of date paint, two pack resins, printing inks, adhesives and aerosol cans from manufacturers, contractors, bodyshops and retailers. Aerosols are processed through puncture and recovery systems so that propellant, liquid and steel are each recovered separately.
Every collection includes the same standard of care as a matter of course. We classify the waste with you and confirm the correct List of Waste coding, supply UN approved packaging and labelling before the collection date, and send an ADR trained driver with a compliant vehicle. The material is taken to permitted facilities only, and your hazardous waste consignment note is returned to you as evidence that the movement was handled correctly from start to finish.
