Paints, coatings and resins are hazardous due to flammable solvent content and, in older stock, heavy metal pigments. We collect empty, full, part used and out of date paint, resins, printing inks, adhesives and aerosol cans. This is often from manufacturers, contractors, bodyshops and retailers.
Every collection includes the same standard of care as a matter of course. The material is taken to licensed disposal or recycling sites in our network, and your hazardous waste consignment note is returned to you for your records.

Is waste paint classed as hazardous waste?
Solvent based paints, hardeners, thinners and many industrial coatings are hazardous waste. Some fully dried water based paint is not, so let us know what the coating is when you enquire.
Do you collect part used paint tins?
Yes. Part used and out of date tins, cans, sludge, hardener and white spirit are all collected, palletised and taken for treatment or recycling.
Can paint tins be recycled?
Empty and scraped metal tins can be recycled once residues are removed. Liquid paint residues are sent for recovery or disposal at licensed sites.
How much paint can you collect at once?
Collections range from a few pallets of tins to bulk quantities from manufacturers and facilities contractors. Volume is confirmed in the written quotation.
