Gas Canister & Cylinder Disposal
Identification, safe handling and disposal of orphaned, corroded and unidentified gas cylinders.
How our gas canister & cylinder disposal service works
Orphaned and unidentified gas cylinders are a common legacy problem on industrial sites. We identify cylinder contents, assess condition, and arrange safe removal, degassing and disposal or return to owner. Corroded, seized valve and non returnable cylinders are handled by specialists with controlled degassing and cylinder recycling, ensuring no pressurised vessel is ever sent into general waste.
Every collection includes the same standard of care as a matter of course. We classify the waste with you and confirm the correct List of Waste coding, supply UN approved packaging and labelling before the collection date, and send an ADR trained driver with a compliant vehicle. The material is taken to permitted facilities only, and your hazardous waste consignment note is returned to you as evidence that the movement was handled correctly from start to finish.
What we collect

The importance of safe gas canister & cylinder disposal
Gas canister & cylinder disposal is controlled for good reason. Handled badly it puts people, drains and watercourses at risk, and the waste stays legally yours long after it leaves your gate. Doing it properly protects your staff, your permit position and the environment.
Protects your people
Compatible containers, correct labelling and trained handling remove the burn, fume and reaction risks that come with badly stored waste.
Keeps you compliant
Duty of care follows the waste. Licensed carriage, permitted treatment and accurate paperwork give you the evidence regulators and auditors ask for.
Protects the environment
Where the stream allows we recover rather than destroy, so useful material goes back into productive use instead of being burned or buried.
