What gas canisters and cylinders do you take?
We collect camping canisters, butane and propane cylinders, CO2 cartridges, refrigerant cylinders, helium bottles and unidentified industrial cylinders.
Do you collect cylinders that are still under pressure?
Yes. Cylinders are handled as pressurised hazardous waste, transported securely and degassed at a licensed disposal site before the metal is recycled.
Can you take cylinders with no owner or supplier markings?
Orphan and unmarked cylinders are a common problem. We identify the contents where possible and arrange safe degassing and disposal.
How should gas canisters be stored before collection?
Store cylinders upright in a secure, ventilated area away from heat and ignition sources, with valves closed.
