Do you collect waste oil from garages and workshops?
Yes. We collect waste engine oil, hydraulic oil, gearbox oil, cutting fluids and oily water from garages, workshops, plant depots and manufacturing sites nationwide.
Is waste oil classed as hazardous waste?
Yes. Waste mineral oil is hazardous waste in the UK and must be stored securely, moved by a registered carrier and accompanied by a consignment note.
Can waste oil be recycled?
Most waste oil is recovered. Clean, uncontaminated oil can be re refined or processed into fuel, which is why keeping oil separate from other waste streams matters.
Do I need to keep oil in a bunded store?
Waste oil should be kept in sound, closed containers within secondary containment so leaks cannot reach drains or ground. We can advise on suitable storage during the quotation.
